“Sparkle” Purse
I absolutely LOVE this new pinstriped black shiny paper! It’s from the Rockabilly Specialty paper from SU. However, I realize I’m not hip enough to understand the red/white skull paper on the reverse side. Lucky for me it doesn’t show. I’ll probably get the whole skull craze about the time it goes out — that’s my usual style. But hey, there was nothing uglier than the clothes and fads of my generation, so there are no judgments passed here!
The purse is fairly small — only about 4.5″ including the handle. Click here for the pattern. The red flower is from the Pretties Kit which I have dyed red with Real Red craft ink. The rhinestones are also from the kit. And can you believe it? I finally found a use for the “sparkle” sentiment from the Warm Words stamp set! All of the other phrases have been really useful to me, but not so much that one. Sparkle was done with Iridescent Ice and Silver embossing powder.
