Pumpkin Cuties for your Table

Submitted by Donna on October 26, 2009 – 9:14 amOne Comment

Hi Stampers!

Halloween is coming up and so is Thanksgiving, so I thought I’d share this idea for a quick way to dress up your table settings. These are so easy to do and go together fairly quickly. Simply use any oval punch — straight or scalloped — and punch out 24 ovals. You then fold them in half either length or widthwise and start glueing them together. The two bigger pumpkins shown here actually used the same punch from Marvy. The litte pumpkin uses the SU Wide Oval punch (Item #112082).

The little “Grandma” name card was made from our single Gobble, Gobble stamp (Item #116535) It’s the perfect size for these and it’s nice that you don’t have to buy an entire set.

I curled the Old Olive (Item #111368) and Chocolate Chip (Item #111367) 1/4″ grosgrain in the oven! That was an interesting technique. It makes it look like curling ribbon or little corkscrews, doesn’t it? Like I said, they’re easy and fun to do, but I’m still glad that with my small family, I won’t have to make a ton of them!  :)
